4 Game Pack No. 1 (Atlantis)

An average pack. Superkid is the only game of note. Crossfire and Crack-Up are playable in the short term, but Spooky Castle is a waste of tape.

4 Most Balls, Boots and Brains (Alternative)

Good stuff, with plenty to do whether you want to stretch your brain or flex your muscles.

Captain Planet (Mindscape)

A bit of a disaster. It looks great, but it's stupidly difficult. Not one to snap up from the shelves.

Championship Run (Zeppelin Games)

It's not perfect, but overall I have to admit it is rather a corker.

The Last Commando (Summit)

A dull spacey shoot-'em-up. You'll have more fun doing your maths homework.

Double Dare (Alternative)

Brain straining game with some cuddlesome twists.

Double Dragon 2 (Tronix)

It hasn't aged, but it's not as good as Target: Renegade.

Double Dragon III: The Rosetta Stone (Storm)

Not quite the best beat-'em-up of all, but darn close.

Fun School 4 for 7-11 Year Olds (Europress)

Enjoyable and rewarding stuff. I got quite a kick out of it when I got things right! It's also big enough to keep children occupied for quite some time.

Game Over 2 (Summit)

Hurrah! To cut a long review short, throw away the inlay, load the game up and zap, zap, zap away. Spanish gold.

Hard Drivin' (The Hit Squad)

Though it pains me to say it, I'm afraid that as a game Hard Drivin' is only good for frightening people into using public transport.

Jonny Quest (Hi-Tec)

Top quality platform fun with one of Hanna-Barbera's lesser-known characters. A stonker.

Last Ninja 2 (The Hit Squad)

With six puzzle-packed levels and groovesome 3D graphics, this is a smashingly playable, tough but fair arcade-adventure.

Microfair Madness (Delbert The Hamster)

A challenging game for the inexperienced adventurer, and should even give the hardened pros a bit of a run for their money.

Quattro Fighters (Codemasters)

Not bad! MiG 29 lets the side down rather, but overall this compilation is a bargain.

Rainbow Islands (The Hit Squad)

Stop dithering over the damage it will do to your public image and buy it immediately, along with a flashy new phone that you can make a point of leaving off the hook.

Robocop (The Hit Squad)

Some people reckon it's too easy. But there's a lot to be said for passing a few hours completing a game as opposed to spending them stuck on the first level!

Soccer Stars (Empire)

None of these games are available as seperate budgies, so getting your hands on two of the best and one still highly enjoyable footy games for the asking price is still a bit of a barg.

Space Crusade (Gremlin Graphics)

I think you lot should go out in your droves to buy this one and prove to Gremlin that Speccy games are worth their while.

Super Seymour Saves The Planet (Codemasters)

One you'll keep coming back to again and again (if you can tear yourself away in the first place, that is).
