The graphics aren't amazingly crap, but neither okayish graphics nor decent speed can really rescue this 'un.
Batman: The Movie (The Hit Squad)
A lot of game for your coins, but there are some flaws that bring down the overall rating.
Football Director (Cult Games)
There aren't any graphics, which speeds up the gameplay but also makes things look quite, er, boring.
Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade (Kixx)
A very playable and spankily polished platformer with good gameplay.
Invaders From Planet X (Compass)
Stuffed full of sound, screen and other special effects, so be prepared for some extrasensory treats as you start to play the game.
The loading screen looks like a road accident, but the gameplay is speedy and pretty idiot-proof.
Rush out and buy it now! Car driving games come and go, but OutRun Europa is a classic set of wheels!
Phileas Fogg's Balloon Battles (Zeppelin Games)
I would have severe difficulty recommending this game to even the most narrow-minded of people. It's repetitive and utterly unaddictive and certainly not worth the bother.
A simplistic but largely enjoyable beat-'em-up which owes much to International Karate.
Professional Footballer (Cult Games)
The game is nicely programmed, and pretty slick-looking it is too. It's got a decent atmosphere, and it's good fun getting the skills of your boy up to strength.
Buy it...! Its whizzy graphics make for a veritable butter mountain of aliens. There are big snakes, robots, astronauts, armoured tanks, Bros fans... in fact, the list is endless.
Snooker Management (Cult Games)
This is awful. A deathly dull, sleep-inducing game which is only slightly more fun than having your leg lopped off with a pair of shears.
It's pretty fast (as these things go), it's got graphics and you can actually score goals.
This compilation is not even remotely super - there are plenty of better versions of both games around. So have a look at one of those instead.
Terminator 2: Judgment Day (Ocean)
It's big, it's fun and it's one for your collection. It's also dead hard...!
World Class Rugby (Audiogenic)
A thoroughly groovy rough and tumble game which doesn't give you scabs on your knees.
World Cricket (Zeppelin Games)
To be perfectly honest, it's a bit naff. Although it's well presented and easy to get into, it's about this much annoying (extends arms far apart), and only this much fun (brings hand close together) to play.
Simple design, snappy execution and enough playability to frighten the electricity meter.
