Graphics are a bit shoddy and jerky, although you do get hills to go up and down, a (vaguely) nice touch. But it really is a bit too boring, and won't have you 'gripped' for very long at all.
Adidas Championship Tie-Break (Ocean)
A slightly strange but generally enjoyable tennis game (that scrolls).
Daley Thompson's Olympic Challenge (The Hit Squad)
It really is jolly clever and exciting - a pretty big leap forward actually, and guaranteed to have you waggling until your joystick curls up and dies.
I'd say the pack is worth it just for Xenon and Silkworm alone, although Gemini Wing and Double Dragon aren't too bad to have as well.
Emlyn Hughes Arcade Quiz (Audiogenic)
A fairly neatly-designed arcade quiz marred by crap questions.
That's it really - nothing spectacular perhaps, but very competent and certainly a cut above most budget fare.
Ivan 'Ironman' Stewart's Super Off Road (Virgin Games)
Updated Super Sprint, perfectly programmed and bags of fun. The business, and no mistake.
New York Warriors (Virgin Games)
Okay, so it's got a few original touches, like a bloke asleep on a bench who suddenly wakes up and tries to take you out, but for the rest of us, well, it's hardly going to light our fire.
Professional Go-Kart Simulator (Zeppelin Games)
Four tracks to choose from, and it's really quite playable and dead easy to get into.
Huge graphics, nice tunes (especially on the 128L), smooth scrolling, a spooky sort of icon add-on weapons bit, octillions of levels - heck, I could go on for hours...
Rick Dangerous 2 (Micro Style)
More explore-and-collect frolics, but a whole lot better than the original.
It's much in the same vein as Nemesis and equally hard, although luckily Salamander is miles better.
Half good/half bad Bond game. There's quite a lot here though, so it's not bad value.
A different but enjoyable approach to footie, and a funnier old game than most.
Totally brilliant. It's sooo simple you'll be craving for just one more go.
Yes, Prime Minister (Mastertronic Plus)
It's a bit hard to explain it in full but it's very playable and well presented.
