A tough game to put down. It's got masterful gameplay, phenomenal presentation and an impressive amount of extra content. Although it's not as awesome as the timeless classic Yoshi's Island, this is definitely the next best thing.

I'm entirely pleased with what Yoshi's Woolly World has accomplished, in regards to delivering a complete and well-designed Yoshi's Island game, but much is lost in the goal of recreating the past.

While Wooly World is mostly Yoshi's Island in a fuzzier package, that's not necessarily a bad thing. Its arts and crafts makeover may be mostly superficial, but by working with the parts of one of the world's greatest platformers, developer Good-Feel makes their recycling worthwhile.
