Very shallow... Due to the 'international' theme there's no transfer market and you don't even select your squad, it's all defaulted. All you do is select the best players and put them in the preset positions. Yawn. Read Review

Skilful matching of a player's ability to position is the essential role of a top class rugby manager.
The Trainer reports the name of the player, injury sustained and estimate of time out of action for each off-form team member.
The skill and fitness of players can be boosted by identifying weaknesses and training the player up to full cabability. Ten Training sessions are available between each match, which can be allocated to players by clicking on their name.
Thirty League Match fixtures are displayed in blocks of fifteen. Clicking on Exit allows the manager to look at both sets of fixtures and then return to the main Management Screen.
Firstly, the Scout gives details of the next League or Cup fixture, as well as his assessment of the opponent's Forwards, Backs and Current Win Rate. The match can be played with an unchanged team, or you can return to the Management Screen to make any amendments to your squad.
Pitch conditions are shown to estimate possible injury and tiredness factors, and the Match Highlights facility for the game can also be switched on or off.
At Half Time the match score will be available along with details of any injuries that may have occurred to your team. Up to two substitutes can then be selected to play in the second half.
The game will then proceed to the final score. A round up of all other match results in your League is also given for comparisons of performance.
After progressing to a certain point in the league, the game can then be saved for future use.
To save, insert a blank tape into the Commodore 64 cassette player, press play and record and fire on this option.
To load, insert the data tape containing the necessary information into the cassette player, press play and fire on this option.
The League around which World Rugby is based consists of three divisions. The division in which you are currently competing is shown to monitor your progress.
The Chairman is responsible for the total well-being of the club, and will provide you with a written warning if your performance is in any way unsatisfactory. Disciplinary offences include continuous match losses, and poor team utilisation. Continuously poor performances will result in a sacking.
