If you like reversi, mah jong and chess then VirusDog is going to be pretty addictive fair. Read Review
Your dog, W. Camelot is ill. Viruses are attacking him. Your mission is to get rid of them throughout the levels. Beware! Viruses are clever.
Kill every virus (see rules) to progress to the next level.
You control a cursor in a 9 x 9 grid of squares. In the grid are viruses. Each virus is represented as a square block. Move the cursor onto each virus to see its name and its type (male or female). There are six different viruses, and each can be of either type.
If a virus crashes into another of a different type, the resultant virus will be the inversion of the crasher virus. i.e. (if a male hits another male, it will become female).
To select a virus, move the cursor onto it and press Space. The possible directions you can throw the virus will then appear. Choose one of these and press Space again.
If a virus crashes into an identical virus and type, the viruses will both explode.
On the first level, the target is to clear it in six moves.
If you finish the level in moves below or equal to the target, you will receive "rank 1" (perfect).
If you finish the level within seven moves in addition to the target, you will receive "rank 2".
If you finish the level but more than seven moves more than the target, you will receive "rank 3".
Note: When results are displayed, a grid of question marks appears representing each of the game's levels. The ? for a particular level will disappear when you win that level with rank 1. Finish all 50 levels at rank 1 to see the hidden picture.
