Triplet contains three separate games:
The object of this game is to break a code generated by the computer. You may select the code to be a number, letter or colour code. You may also select the code length from 1 to 9.
For a number code type in your guesses, selecting from digits 0 to 9 and terminating the input with ENTER. Prior to ENTER, you may use the backspace key to step back and change your guess.
Similarly, for a letter code, select from the letters A to Z.
For a colour code, select your guess using the initial letters of the colours as follows:
Type G for Green
Type Y for Yellow
Type R for Red
Type B for Blue
Type W for White
Type C for Cyan
Type M for Magenta
Type O for Orange
On entering a guess the computer will output two numbers, first the number of correct items in the correct place and secondly the number of items correct but in the wrong place.
For all variations of this game, the computer keeps a note of the best score and time. A table of these can be seen at the end of any game by typing S.
The object of this game is to copy a sequence by the computer, without making any mistakes. The sequence is sound, number, colour and shape coded.
You may select the number of items in the sequence from 1 to 8, and you may choose a skill level from 1 to 9. This will determine how fast the computer steps through the sequence.
To repeat the computer's ever-lengthening sequence, type the numbers on the shapes selected by the computer. The sequence starts with one item and grows longer each time you correctly repeat it.
If you make a mistake, or take too long to finish the sequence, the computer will play the whole sequence for you and offers to replay it again as a further check.
For each variation of the game the computer keeps track of the maximum correctly-repeated sequence length and a table can be seen at the end of any game by selecting S.
The object of this game is to manipulate a letter tile back in to alphabetic order after it has been shuffled by the computer. You may choose the tile to be:
3 by 3;
4 by 4; or
5 by 5.
To manipulate the tile, type in the letters that you wish to move.
The computer keeps a best score and time for each tile size and these can be seen at the end of any game by selecting S.
At the end of any game you can see the instructions again by typing ? for help.
At the end of any game you can select the tables of scores by typing S. To progress from one table to the next type SPACE.
Best of luck...
