Not since Palace Of Magic have I been hooked to an arcade adventure, but this frustrating game has me securely in its grip.
The Last Ninja 2 (Superior/Acornsoft)
Animation is excellent and there's lots of detailed scenery.
We should all be pleased that Players is sticking with the Acorn market, but perhaps future offerings could be more playable.
ALPS has been carefully and painstakingly created so that almost anyone with a good imagination can create an adventure that is satisfying, entertaining and - above all - playable.
All the games in this compilation are very simple and competently programmed.
This is more than a fruit machine, it's a money machine - you can't lose in the long run.
Jinxter (Cambridge International)
Many delights and surprises await you in Jinxter; an adventure in which the only harm you can do yourself is from laughing or head scratching.
Arcade Soccer (The 4th Dimension)
