Link's Awakening was a wonderful game when first released. This new Switch version may not deviate much from the original but it definitely looks and sounds great. The few sprinkles of additional content add some much-needed value, too.

This is, in a word, dreamy. The Switch port improves most of the flaws from the original game while maintaining (or enhancing) everything that makes Link's Game Boy adventure a classic.

This was a great game back in the day and still is! An adventure once lost to time and now back in all its glory!

With a quirkiness to it that stands out from the rest of the series, Link's Awakening still holds up beautifully well as a modern 2D Zelda game. Outside of some nagging performance issues, this is a wonderful remake of a Game Boy classic.
