A big and difficult game, well up to Infogrames' standard. It's fun to play, and there's never a shortage of the unexpected. Read Review
Do you remember how you had run out of money when your Aunt left you her fortune...? In fact, she left it to you, but you had to earn it first. In Panic In Las Vegas, you had to win a million dollars in one night at a casino in order to claim this inheritance.
Well, you succeeded, but what a problem you have now! You've lost your birth certificate and the family records are somewhere... in Scotland. It is absolutely vital that you find it again - there is still all that money to be gained as a reward. Of course, "fake nephews" crop up everywhere. What are you going to do to get out of this muddle?
Inheritance 2 is a graphic adventure game which you play solely by using the joystick or cursor keys on the keyboard. The cursor (a little square) appears in the middle of the screen. It symbolizes the place where you are looking.
To play, you have to position the cursor (by using the cursor keys or joystick) then confirm the location by pressing the space bar or the fire button on the joystick.
Confirming the location of the cursor allows you to take certain objects, put them down, give them to someone or take something out of another object.
The objects that you take are shown on the screen. As you take an object you will see it appear in the cursor's place.
You can only see directly in front of you.
To turn round, move the cursor (using the joystick or cursor keys) to the side of the picture. Each time you will move round a quarter of a turn and you will see something else.
To go straight on, place the cursor in the middle of the screen and press the fire button or the space bar.
Note: In the event of a mishap, press R to start the game again.
Tape: SHIFT-RUN/STOP
Disk: LOAD"*",8,1 (RETURN)
Compatible with C64/128 with a tape recorder/disk drive and optional joystick.
