System 15000 sets you firmly in the middle of an international conspiracy where you have to use your computer together with System 15000 to recover $1,500,000.
After loading and initialisation the monitor shows the "SYSTEM" screen. This is the base from which all communications start and to which you return when you disconnect
1 = 15000 Menu
* = Disconnect
3 = Save Or Recall
Note: In spite of the unusual nature of System 15000, saving is recommended (although not essential) as this prevents certain repetitions and allows the system to keep track of past progress.
All names and telephone numbers used in this game are fictitious and do not refer to real persons or companies and any resemblance to them is unintentional.
Hope you can help. Richard's company COMDATA has been ripped off by REALCO to the tune of U.S. $1,500,000 on his American order.
The police have been very helpful but have not been able to get the money back. They do know, however, that Realco has been infiltrated by organised crime and have told me to be very careful. Up until now I thought that I had been! But things seem to be hotting up a bit so I'm flying out today, which is why I'm asking you to help.
The only way to put things right is to transfer the money back to Comdata's bank (MIDMINSTER), by getting into the appropriate computer. I am sending you the AVS System 15000 communications software in the hope that you will be able to save Richard's company by finishing the work that I've started.
The one person who has been helping me is Geoff, who you may remember from school. He now works at a scientific research laboratory. You can't get in touch with him easily because of security, but he has access to a terminal and is trying to help.
I haven't got time for details but start by going to KINGSDOWN Polytechnic 672 3427. The special list code is SL312 - Look for L. T. PERRY & Co.
Good luck.
In haste .... Mike
