Street Patroller: The Remix is a text adventure. All usual text adventure commands can be used.

"IT" Usage

In Street Patroller: The Remix, you can use "IT" instead of a noun used in the previous command, thus saving you typing any more than you have to. The beauty with "IT" is that you can use "IT" for any (or more than one) noun in your command, and not just the first one. Thus not only can you say BUY HAT, GET IT, but also something like PUSH ORANGE BUTTON THEN PUSH BLUE IT...!

Loading

Note that there are different program recorded on each side of the cassette.

Side 1 is Street Patroller: The Remix. Type:

*RUN (RETURN)

to load.

Note: Street Patroller: The Remix assumes you have cold-started your BBC before attempting to load it. If you have not, then unpredictable results may occur.

Side 2 contains a full hints program, followed by some other pieces which may be of interest.

Each program on this side of the tape can be loaded by typing *RUN (RETURN).

Use BREAK to quit any of these programs.
