Starspell

Starspell is a spelling practice program with 800 words covering 115 spelling rules. The word list in this program is derived from "A Classroom Index of Phonic Resources" by D. Herbert and G. Davies, published by N.A.R.E. Suitable for BBC 32K microcomputers.

How To Use

1. Choose the list number from the list below, or enter your own.
2. The student spells seven words. The computer cleverly corrects mistakes and asks for another try. DELETE can be used, and RETURN finishes each try.
3. Words that need to be practised are listed at the end.
4. Better spellers can try to beat the target time.
5. To speed up the program press the Space Bar and the display will go.
