Good graphics, sound and an attractive screen display... A must for all armchair athletes. Read Review
The game is ludicrously dull, the graphics are jerky and it's enough to put you off sport for the rest of your life. Read Review
Sporting Decathlon - Take part in ten events from the comfort of your computer chair. You can take gold, silver or bronze on the winners' rostrum.
Hope you are feeling fit and ready for the "Off" in the olympic style 'Sporting Decathlon'. A gruelling test of human endurance. If you succeed, then the Gold Medal is yours. So take a deep breath, flex your keyboard and joystick muscles and stay cool. Have a nice day.
In all track events 0 aim for 'Good Time Rating'. Try to win but take care not to burn your Energy too quickly in the 100, 400 and 1,500 metre events you are in the remaining and energy used. The Javelin, Shot Putt and Discus events are all judged on distance, so the further you throw, the higher your score will be. The Pole Vault, High Jump and Long Jump call for precision in your timing. Jumping too late can be painful and costly on your scoring.
Your opposition is determined by the Skill Level chosen. The higher levels field more strength and speed against you. Also the hurdles are set higher.
At the end of your Decathlon, it's congratulations for Gold, Silver or Bronze and off you go to the podium stands for your medallion. If not them "it's better luck next time".
Play with the Joystick or Keyboard. If using a Joystick, use the right hand joystick port only.
Arrow Left - Slow Down, Arrow Right - Speed Up, Space Bar - Jump/Throw
