The Game

Space Pirates will work on either the Model A or B BBC Micro.

The program is ready to play when the screen clears and the title appears.

Gameplay

The object of the game is to prevent the space pirates from stealing your six life pods.

When a space pirate is destroyed, one point is gained.

If you are destroyed you are immediately reincarnated and you are replaced by a life pod, this occurs six times, after which there are no space pods left to return you to life and the game is over.

After each game the score achieved is recorded in the Last Score box; if this was greater than any other score achieved so far the score is also placed in the High Score box.

After each game, RETURN will restart.

A - Ship left rotate, S - Ship right rotate, L - Fire, K - Thrust
