Our little teddy bear is a prize in a fairground side alley. As all fairground characters do, he comes alive after everyone has gone home...
Our hero is the security guard, employed to look after the fairground. He really cares about his teddy bear friend. Late at night, worn out by their antics, the happy prizes all fall asleep.
Tonight however, when he checked on his little friend, security guard found that teddy was missing!! Teddy has gone sleepwalking and is in danger!!
Sleepwalker's safety depends on you being able to guide our hero to help sleepwalker get back to his bed!!
The aim of the game is to help your sleepwalking teddy friend get safely to bed by guiding him past the hazards on each screen. The scanner at the bottom right of the screen indicates where teddy is in relation to yourself and, once you have found him, changes to show the location of the bed in relation to you and teddy. Energy bars for you and teddy are located at the bottom left and right of the screen.
Use a joystick in port 2 to move your character. Press FIRE to jump.
Moving close to teddy will change his direction.
Walk up to teddy and pull down on joystick to stop him moving.
Walk up to teddy and pull down and press FIRE to pick him up. Repeat action to put him down again.
Note: Carrying teddy will drain your energy - you will drop him when your energy is low.
Stand on a recharge bar to replenish your energy. Guiding teddy onto a recharge bar will replenish his energy as well.
If you stand on a moving platform, it will stop moving until you step off it.
A tutorial mode is available to help you get used to the controls.
