The graphics are colourful, the scrolling smooth and the challenge quote gruesomely high. Read Review
When you have mastered this game, it is no longer limitless, for, as difficulty increases and fuel disappears more rapidly, there is a run where it is impossible to survive, even if all fuel bases are shot! Read Review
Graphics are smooth-flowing and I quite enjoyed playing this game. Read Review
Your mission is to penetrate the enemy scramble system and destroy their headquarters. You will start with three of our latest spacefighters equipped with repeating cannon and twin bomb launcher. If you succeed in evading the elaborate ground defences, you will arrive at the Cave where flying becomes more difficult.
In the cave are UFOs, after which you must avoid a hail of meteorites. Very few pilots succeed this far, but if you do, then you must enter the Fortress, followed by the Maze. If you manage to destroy Enemy Headquarters, then your reward will be a more difficult mission!
One or two player game. Machine Code. High Speed. Arcade Action. Full colour graphics with sound. Keyboard or joystick control.
Your mission is to penetrate the enemy scramble system and destroy their headquarters. You will start with three of our latest spacefighters equipped with repeating cannon and twin bomb launcher. An extra fighter will be awarded at 10,000 points.
You will encounter varied and difficult defences. Beware of missiles launching at you. Watch your fuel guage on the right. Extra fuel can be gained by destroying the fuel dumps. The radar towers are a useful supply of points.
Should you succeed in evading the elaborate ground defences, you will arrive at the Cave where flying becomes more difficult. In the cave are UFOs which are very hard to evade but, fortunately, easy to shoot. After these comes the real test; a hail of meteorites which are not only difficult to evade but impossible to destroy.
Very few pilots ever survive this far to enter the Fortress - affectionately known as The Wall to those who have seen it. The ground missiles are now active again; many of them hidden in silos. After these only fuel dumps remain.
But... You will now be very close to the enemy headquarters. Only one obstacle stands in your way - the final defence - and the most difficult - The Maze! You will need to fly more accurately than you have ever done in your life to penetrate your goal.
Having succeeded this far, don't blow the last leg. You will have one chance and one chance only to destroy the enemy headquarters!
If you miss, you will lose your ship. If you destroy it, your ship will be replaced, together with a new and harder mission. Good luck.
