Die, bug, die! Non-stop insect-squashing action. A brilliantly insane mix of fun and thrills. Superb.
A superlative footy game that's vastly superior to Gazza's Soccer. Eta bloody great mahn ef yu lake phootball.
F-16 Combat Pilot (Digital Integration)
I could have spent hours on F-16 Combat Pilot. The controls are responsive, maybe even delicate, but there is a definite sense of realism to this simulator.
The main problem with Pick 'N Pile is that it's very similar to Ocean's Puzznic, though with inferior graphics.
Could have been a goodie, but so many corners have been cut that the finished product is lacking something.
Return Of The Jedi (The Hit Squad)
There isn't a great deal of excitement here, and the action's pretty predictable.
Operation Wolf (The Hit Squad)
Top-notch all action baddie blastin' arcade extravaganza, not to be missed.
Chase H.Q. 2: Special Criminal Investigations (Ocean)
A pretty good game, with lots of excitement and decent graphics and animation. The trouble is that we've seen it all before - in Chase H.Q. 1!
Apart from the decent sound of the Spectrum version, the only consolation is that the C64 version is apparently worse, difficult though that is to imagine.
Front-rank car racing coin-op conversion stands up to the test of time.
