Castia has declared war on Attland. Being such a loyal Attlander, you decide to join the army. You are stationed in the frontline at the border town of Tapo.
One evening, Tapo is attacked by Castian bombers. In the onslaught that follows, your unit and virtually all of the town is wiped out. During the bombing raid, you rush to take cover but, before you make it to safety, a bomb explodes nearby and you are caught in the blast.
Although concussed, you stagger to your feet, only to see the bodies of your friends lying all around. In a sudden fit of bravery and madness you decided to take on all of Castia! You shoot your way across the border and, after several chose shaves, manage to seek refuge in the mountains.
You spend the night in a cave and the following morning you come to your senses. You realise that you can't defeat all of Castia on your own, so you make up your mind to return to Attland, but the problem is... getting back!
