Sector

The shadow quadrant has been taken over by a strange alien force. Initial probes into the quadrant have been destroyed, only managing to send back garbled information that indicates a vast hive mind is intending to advance through known space to swallow all resources for itself.

The aliens have organised all of the minerals and resources of the quadrant into geometric piles and are protecting them ferociously, using the raw materials as fuel for their advance into human space.

You are the pilot of a tiny, unarmed craft, the only thing able to avoid the aliens defence sensor arrays. Flying deep into the heart of the shadow quadrant, your mission is to scoop all of the resource piles into your onboard matter transporter, sending them back to human space.

You can also trick the aliens' defences into destroying their own materials, some of which your matter transporter cannot accept due to unstable elements within.

When you have cleared each area of minerals you will advance to the next. You need to buy humanity enough time to formulate an attack plan to banish the aliens once and for all. Your mission is suicide but you must succeed; you are humanity's last hope!

Sector Invasion

The initial mission to scoop and destroy the aliens stockpiled resources gave humanity enough time to formulate an attack force.

Within this attack force was one highly specialised fighter with an experimental radar ghosting technology. This fighter was the only craft to make it through the inner wall of alien defences and you are the pilot.

The aliens have begun to stockpile resources once again and are weaponising minerals to use as ammunition in their upcoming assault on human space. Your ship is almost drained of energy and has de-cloaked in the middle of the aliens stockpiling area, deep behind their frontline.

It is now your task to ensure the total destruction of all of their stockpiled resources, using the ship's mounted cannons to obliterate them. The alien defence will be fierce and their ships are now much more powerful.

Their shields will resist anything you can throw at them. However, without resources their fleet will grind to a halt and their defences will crumble, allowing a full human attack force through.

You cannot fail... humanity's fate rests in your hands!
