B17 Flying Fortress (Microprose)
MicroProse have another winner on their hands. A challenging, original flight sim with plenty of thrills and spills.
Not really original... the usual leaping around, shooting baddies and picking up collectibles. But, despite that, it has addictive gameplay and a pretty high frustration factor.
The strategy side of Air Support can be quite challenging. But the wireframe graphics and the unimaginative gameplay makes this game one big snooze.
Populous And Promised Lands (The Hit Squad)
A classic game with stacks of playability and great-looking graphics.
Bart Simpson Vs. Space Mutants (The Hit Squad)
No better or no worse than any other platform game unless you happen to be an avid Simpsons fan, in which case it could well be the answer to all your Simpson-related ambitions.
No Second Prize is a great bike racing sim, but Thalion win no awards for porting the ST version across to the Falcon. It's graphically identical to its ST twin and even retains the aggravating chip music and sound effects.
More colours and faster gameplay turns Transarctica into a more exciting proposition. But the whole concept doesn't quite gel and leaves you uninspired. That is, unless you really like trains.
