Yet another solid and playable Jonathan Cauldwell production, with the originality that we have come to expect. Read Review
Quite an amusing distraction, but tainted by a questionable play mechanic and the occasional bug. Read Review
Be astounded in this souped up, racing mega-experience!
It's got all you'll ever need and all you've ever desired in a Racer, including Cheesecake, fish-fingers and the meanest game of Hangman this side of Winchester 7!
To mark the occasion of his 700th birthday, the Great Astral Trout of Winchester 7 in the galaxy of Louth has decreed that a motor race assault course be constructed, and that races be held upon it each year with moderately generous prizes for those brave enough to take up the challenge. Not wishing to annoy their spiritual mentor because he's bigger than anybody else, the Trouts, usually more keen on crosswords than motor racing, set about building an exciting but also rather dangerous track. The challenge is then issued to alien races in the vicinity of Winchester 7. The entrant who completes the course in the fastest time will receive enough fish fingers and cheesecake to live on for a year, not to mention the undying respect of the Great Astral Trout who will be watching the race on a telly in his shed. He has even promised to name his pet radish after the winner.
Unfortunately, during the construction phase, our fishy hosts seem to have carelessly left letters from their crosswords lying around. Anyone who picks them up and rearranges them to form useful words will be rewarded with a full tank of petrol. Sounds like a fair deal to me, anyway.
Navigate the assault course, avoiding the many hazards. A timer at the top of the screen shows the time remaining - fail to complete a section within the time limit and you will lose a life. Collect the letters and you can use them to guess the words the Trouts are trying to find in their crossword puzzle - incorrect guesses cost a little petrol, but complete the word and you will be rewarded with a full tank.

The game has a control menu where you may redefine the movement keys. There is also an option to play a version without the hangman sub-game.
