Well error-trapped and apparently bug-free... All in all a good, solid, enjoyable game. Read Review

"This is Protector, please respond. Units all respond. I am having difficulties in understanding," I reach forward on the control panel.
Units 1 thru 8 calling for Protector Under attack... Attacking Units. Assistance required. Urgent. URGENT. Urgenturgenturgent...
I check the scanner screen, a psychedelic swirl of colour greets my gaze, protective shades close over my visor. I can now see the attackers, they are moving in upon one of our forward stations. I thrust toward them, on the watch for more dangerous units which might damage my ship.

I cut off the speaker into the cabin breaking contact with the crazy units of our forward research station. That's the trouble with working in this place, you go crazy after a while, even machines go crazy. Even things like cigarette lighters cannot survive for long in this place. I grip the joystick to control my craft more firmly.
First discovered twenty years ago, main has only recently started to explore this area. Well, let's face it. You don't exactly want to just rush blindly into a new dimension, and after all when probes return singing nursery rhymes... Still, man couldn't be held back and so volunteers such as myself have started to map out this area.
Entry is effected through a transethereal field here in a state of statis in deep space. Once in here you must move forward slowly consolidating your position every inch of the way. However, with machines going crazy at irregular intervals you have to keep up a constant watch; after all, I certainly so not wish to be murdered in my sleep by a coffee percolator. Even the new organic/machine symbiotes which we call Units can sometimes go crazy.
My job is protecting these semi-conscious creatures from the dangers of this dimension. Powerful creatures which can obliterate an entire station in minutes wander freely through this dimension and I have to try to keep them in check. Protector, that's me. Still, I already told you that, didn't I?
Approaching the striken units now. Carefully does it, right, I'm lined up and going in for the attack. Don't worry, little units, your old uncle is here.
"Geronimooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo"
Pods, Monsters who kill on contact, Mine-laying UFO's, Monsters increase as game progresses, new pods every 1,000 points, hyperspace function, Full colour, Hi-Res action, Joystick control. Full sound.
