This game celebrates the 25th anniversary of the release of Phantomas 1 and Phantomas 2 by Dinamic in 1986.
The Old Metro City, an ancient place formerly associated with splendour, arts, culture and wealth, has fallen upon hard times. The mysterious acolytes of the Vehjstiahows sect now dominate it, and have contaminated its sewers with a substance that turns bricks into big, fat, golden coins.
Far away, our 80s thief hero Phantomas was celebrating his twenty-fifth birthday, tortilla in hand and naked woman by his side. All of a sudden, he chanced upon the above information from a random page in the Galactic History & Table Games Encyclopaedia.
You know what would be a great way to celebrate Phantomas' birthday? Go to the Old Metro City and steal as many big, fat, golden coins as you can!
You control Phantomas. Your goal is to find 15 gold coins on each level of the Old Metro City sewers. Avoid the acid wells, rock triturators, extraction robots and the terrible madmen from the Vehjstiahows sect.
As usual, Phantomas can run left or right and make two kinds of jumps: high jump and long jump. Master the use of both.
Besides the 15 gold coins, you’ll find battery power-ups. Use them wisely, they will come in handy as you progress in the game!
O - Left, P - Right, Q - High Jump, A - Long Jump
You can use the Kempston or Sinclair Joystick if you prefer.
G - Quit
This game will only work in a ZX Spectrum with 128K (or compatible). Use Game Loader from main menu.
