A space age, upside down platformer by Andy Johns
Fresh from his success with rejuvenating the classic ZX Spectrum hero, Monty Mole, Andy Johns returns with an all new creation, Ooze.
Take control of an escaped biological test subject in a secret governmental facility.
The experiments that have been performed on you over the years have set you in good stead for your bid for freedom, as you can subvert gravity at will!
Use this to your advantage to escape the confines of the laboratory so that you may finally see the real world and what lies beyond these metal walls.
After years of experimentation at the hands of the machines, your containment unit has malfunctioned.
You are free.
Using the floors and ceilings, explore the vast complex, avoid toxic sludge and gas, dodge lethal traps and robots and deactivate the various forcefields to find your way out.
Who knows what awaits you outside the walls of the high security research compound...?
In order to break free completely, you must find and install the four coloured code keys that will enable you to pass their respective forcefields and finally reach the exit.
With each code key found and installed, you will be able to proceed a little deeper into the facility in your search for the others.
Make sure that you install each code key once you find it as without doing so you will not be able to proceed with your escape and will be forever condemned to roam within the metal cage that is this secret facility.
Reversing gravity will instantly flip you from the floor to the ceiling. This enables you to avoid the many automated patrol droids and other hazards you will find in the facility, as well as allowing you to navigate the entire area successfully.
Your escape was not anticipated, so measures have not been taken to secure the facility against such a situation. Use this to your advantage. If you cannot pass an area via the ground, use the ceiling.
Ooze is weak to biological contaminants and will die upon contact with them or any of the electrified sentry devices. Be careful. With luck and skill, you shall escape!
O - Left, P - Right, SPACE - Reverse gravity, M - Toggle music (at main menu screen)
