Even just to see what the controversy is all about, £20 is a stretch. Too many graphical flaws and uninspired combat.

WWE WrestleMania 21 (THQ) (Xbox (EU Version))

Much better than the Raw games, it's a step forwards for wrestling on Xbox, but there are still silly errors that need fixing.

Forza Motorsport (Microsoft) (Xbox (EU Version))

All the thrills of Gotham, mods galore and phenomenal online options make Forza a surprise stunner.

Red Ninja: End Of Honour (Sierra) (Xbox (EU Version))

Nice ideas and an interesting plot, but Red Ninja's flaws are way too frequent and prominent to make it worth recommending.

Juiced (THQ) (Xbox (EU Version))

Another good all-round car modding effort with a seriously complete set of Live options. Not quite as hip as MC3 though.

Lego Star Wars (Eidos) (Xbox (EU Version))

Perhaps the single most perfect kiddie game ever.

Predator: Concrete Jungle (Sierra) (Xbox (EU Version))

Loads of fun for the first few hours, then the repetitive action and frustrating camera kick in. Disappointing.

MX Vs. ATV Unleashed (THQ) (Xbox (US Version))

Bigger, better and more enjoyable than Unleashed, thanks mainly to the new Live mode and a broader range of vehicles.

Bicycle Casino (Activision) (Xbox (EU Version))

Gambling might be a mug's game, but so is this.

Greg Hastings' Tournament Paintball (Activision) (Xbox (EU Version))

Simplistic and a bit silly, but it does a fairly decent job of recreating the competitive paintball experience on Live.

Alien Hominid (Zoo Digital Publishing) (Xbox (EU Version))

Alien Hominid is a bit like its title character - short but sweet. The difficulty is there but there's just not enough content overall.

Robots (Sierra) (Xbox (EU Version))

Smattered with nice touches, Robots' cogs don't turn too smoothly thanks to poor animation and an infuriating camera.

Gun Griffon: Allied Strike (Tecmo) (Xbox (EU Version))

Stripped down and simplified mech blaster that'll be too clunky for most gamers' tastes. Great multiplayer, though.

Area 51 (Midway) (Xbox (EU Version))

A standard shooter punctuated with rare glimpses of invention. It promised much yet only delivers brainless shootouts.
