Compared to the original, Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon is an utter disgrace. It takes all the good stuff out and amplifies the things that don't work.

Has a distinctive look and feel, which isn't something that can be said 20+ games into Atelier. There's no denying that this game features some dazzling environments - but they're not enough to offset the dialogue, bad camera controls, and leering fan service. Although it's a departure from the developer's norm, it's also that "different" isn't inherently a "good thing".
