Mission - XP2 was an exploratory survey of a distant galaxy, made necessary by the non-return of Mission - XP1.
Having completed all the tasks assigned to them the crew enter their suspended animation chambers for the return journey.
You awake expecting to see the familiar sight of Earth on the viewscreen. Instead you find that the crew are all dead and the ship is orbiting a planet many light years from earth.
It's up to you to do whatever is needed to get the ship back to earth. If you fail Mission - XP3 will ensure you get a decent burial. Good luck.
