Mega Man Legacy Collection feels incomplete. It doesn't feature any of the games that launched after the heyday of the NES era and it bring its contents to modern systems with performance warts and all. The save system is a great convenience though.

It's a decent collection, but plays things far too safe. The four games on offer feature the exact same inclusions as the first Legacy Collection and the way saving works now makes for a fairer challenge that doesn't make things too easy. But the enhanced version of Mega Man 8 wasn't used and Mega Man & Bass was not included. It gave me the impression Capcom's heart wasn't quite in it.

This collection gathers up four great Mega Man games that are otherwise hard to find and play. However, Capcom's stitched-together presentation for the titles and lack of extra options leaves a lot to be desired.
