Mathemagic Land

The program loads in several parts, when the first part has loaded press SPACE to continue; the instructions will then be displayed while the remainder of the program is loading. Do not stop the recorder or press any other keys until all of the program is loaded.

The instructions display the objective of the game. Moves are made using the function keys. You should not enter any units after your answers.

If you want to use the game a second time, the instructions will not be displayed unless you reload the first part of the program.

You may call the wizard after answering a question, he will either give you the answer to the last question or ask you another, which could earn you extra treasure. Beware, you may only call the wizard three times.

If you cannot answer a question, you may press RETURN to leave the location and return to it later. In each of the three levels there is a maximum number of attempts you may make at solving the problems, these are: level 1. 24 attempts, level 2. 22, level 3. 20 after which you will be sent back to the beginning. If you stay too long in one place, the giant will chase you away. When you return to the location you will find that the problem has changed.

Read the questions carefully before answering them as they may not be all that they seem.
