The levels themselves are wonderfully varied, ranging from luscious jungles, deserts and even a rather intense battle on a train.
The really bland multiple angle storyline of Lost Planet 2 is awful in comparison to Lost Planet's single protagonist. Still, if you have either no issue with gaming with random people, or have a dedicated group of co-op friends, I don't think you'll come across a better co-op experience for a third person shooter than this.
