The Game

The punks are kicking cans around again, but as Denis the Canman you make your living by recycling the waste metal at your plant. In this game you take on the dual role of collecting cans with your crane and then pushing them into the melting tank.

To complete each level, you must get a number of cans, labelled "Do" on the score panel, into the tank. This must be done by careful use of the crane and climbing around the ladders and platforms. Cans may be lying around but at other times you'll have to wait for the punk to bring some as he wanders around the bottom of the screen.

You may raise and lower the crane, and open and close the grabber to pick up cans. The crane may be moved left and right only when it is fully raised. If you do so at any other time, out will pop Denis, to which your control will then be transferred.

Push a can by moving beside it and pressing the same key that operates the grabber. To regain control of the crane, position yourself directly on top of it and press the up key.

Be careful not to leave the crane where you can't get back to it and hurry, there isn't much time.

Press the TAB key to advance the timer to zero. At this point, if you haven't got enough cans, the game ends.

Otherwise you move on to the next level and any extra cans in the tank give bonus points.

There are eight screens to puzzle out. If you're stuck, you can commit suicide by falling into the tank!
