In the 25th century, technology has climbed to new heights, but mankind has reverted to Barbarism, under the rule of A.I. - Artificial Intelligence. Mankind has been succeeded as the dominant species by the ultimate computer. In a parody of the ancient Roman Gladiators, any who attempt to oppose or resist A.I. are placed in the "Lazer Zone" where they are forced to ride a photon-emission powered Lazer Cycle, against the opposing team of A.I.-controlled Lazer Cycles to the death.
Fill in grid on zone 1 by surrounding each square with your red photon trail. Avoid computer cycles and their photon trails. Passing through debris left from crashes will slow you down. Debris may also hide computer bikes!! Each square completed gives you 10 points. If you survive to complete zone 1 you will enter zone 2 where you will ride against the master computer cycle (M.C.C.). You will score one point for every second you survive.
Warning: Avoid the obstacles which appear at random. When they disappear you cannot crash into them but they will nullify your photon trail where it makes contact with them (use this to help you escape the M.C.C.).
You will return to zone 1 if you destroy 3 M.C.C.s. Every time you return to a zone it will be harder to complete.
For best response press key for desired direction just before cycle reaches an intersection of the gridlines. Do not keep the keys pressed.
