The Philosopher's Stone is of German origin, and has been translated into English. But beware of some of the responses, they're really weird. They don't make the game any harder, just a little unusual. Read Review

Lapis is aimed at the younger or inexperienced adventurer, and I think that they would enjoy it. As there are seven different winning routes, finding all of them might prove to be more of a challenge to the more advanced player. Read Review
