A shoot-'em-up by Miroslav Fidler and Frantisek Fuka
As a downed F.I.R.E. team pilot you have crash-landed on an alien world. Taking control of an idle battle cruiser you must destroy their world from the inside out. Stop their advance into human space and get a rescue signal sent out to your fellow humans once their satellite bunker array has been completely decimated.
As a member of F.I.R.E assault group, you find yourself shot down and marooned on an alien world. Having managed to steal one of their high-powered battle cruisers, you are now ready to begin destroying their civilization from the inside out!
With your in-suit comms systems damaged beyond repair, you have no means to get out a distress signal to your fellow pilots out in the black or to your home station back on the edge of human space.
Destroying all of the war bunkers beneath the planet's surface will not only cripple the aliens' offensive efforts. It may also be the only way to ensure an unencrypted distress signal can be sent out on wavelengths that are currently being blocked by the satellite rods in the bunker network.
The number of war bunkers left is shown in the top right of your on-screen display. The war bunkers are the L-shaped domed buildings.
You must use whatever weapons you can against the alien menace but beware... You have not answered their call to identify yourself as an authorised vessel and their hive mind has turned against you. Expect every other ship to be hostile to yours and react accordingly.
You may find boxes of supplies around the base that equip your craft with different weapons and more fuel or shields. Be watchful for such crates, and pick them up when you can! Fly over marked crates to collect their contents.
Controls are defined at the main menu before beginning your mission. The "down" control will launch whatever secondary defence weapon/s you have onboard, if any. Good luck - you'll need it!
