Collect the coloured gems which match your colour, then change your colour to collect the rest. A simple concept but amazingly challenging - with 70 levels to master.
Simply collecting all the gems on a level - regardless of being the correct colour - will unlock the next five levels after it, but to complete 100% of the game you must gain all three awards from each level:
Colour Matcher | ... | All the gems were collected when the correct colour. |
Fast Mover | ... | All the gems were collected within the time limit. |
Star Catcher | ... | A star which is hidden on each level, and is a certain colour and can only be seen and collected when the player is that colour, was collected. |
Each award can be collected individually in separate goes - for example, you don't have to be within the time limit to get the Star Catcher award.
A five-second time penalty is given for each gem collected when you are not the correct colour.
Z - Left, X - Right, L - Jump, B - Back (show the in-game menu, or return to the previous menu)
All keys can be redefined.
The game can also be fully controlled using either the Kempston, Protek/Cursor, or Sinclair Interface2 joystick by selecting the required mode at the front-end, or using the joystick to redefine the keys as required.
