You must destroy the invading aliens as they attack by warping through the stargates at the top of the screen. A stargate will open shortly before an alien warps through it, and will then close immediately. A direct hit on an open stargate temporarily disables it, forcing it to close.
CTRL - Left, SHIFT - Right, REPT - Fire
Type SPACE to start a new game.
You start with a total of three missile bases, and the number remaining is shown in the top right-hand corner of the screen. The scores for destroying the three types of alien are:
Glider | ... | 5 |
Swooper | ... | 10 |
Diver | ... | 15 |
Also, hitting an open stargate will score an unknown number of points.

You are surrounded by robots, programmed to follow anything that moves. Lure them into potholes, or be converted into scrap metal!
CTRL - Left, SHIFT - Right, RETURN - Move
If you escape from the robots, you will be confronted by more robots, moving faster.
Your score is shown on the top right of the screen, and the highest score so far is shown to the left.
The INDEX file identifies the cassette, and include test sequences for setting the correct playback volume on the recorder. It should be star-loaded by typing:
*LOAD "INDEX"
The file will then be loading directly to the screen, and should appear as shown above. The remainder of the file should appear as a sequence of lines showing the character-set.
The remaining files on the cassette should be loaded and run normally, e.g.
LOAD "STARGATE"
RUN
