Complete with graphics and sound.
ALPHA
An alphabet game with two levels of difficulty. The children guess which letter the computer has chosen; the computer answers whether their letter comes before or after the chosen letter. In the first level game the alphabet is displayed and visual help is given.
VOWELS
A vowel is missing from one word in each of the short sentences. Children are asked to input the correct vowel. The correct answer causes a rocket to zoom in.
THERE
Children type the correct word "there" or "their" into the short sentences displayed on the screen and are rewarded with a shooting star. With these exercises they quickly learn when to use these words.
SUFFIXES
This program explains the five rules of suffixes and shows examples of each. Each rule has exercises and the children give the correct suffixes to the words displayed. A little man jumps with joy when they succeed. At the end of the program, there is a test on all the work covered.
HANGMAN
The ever-popular game with three levels of difficulty. The first level has the vowels a, e, i, o, u already displayed. 300 different words are available and room has been left so that you can input your own choice of words. When the word has been guessed, the time taken is shown.
