An excellently executed, cartoony platformer but one which, even in its "remixed" form seems slightly rough around the edges. Read Review
Guide Flubble through eight alien-infested worlds and collect the escape Squij creatures. Use your tail-spin attack to clubber the nasties and find the correct duct to escape when you have resuced all the Squijs!
Features the original classic game by Kevin Murphy and Damian Steele along with a remixed version by Jon Wells!
Guide Flubble along the eight levels collecting the escaped Squij creatures as you go. Pressing fire will cause Flubble to go into a spin where he can use his tail to splatter any nasty aliens in his path. Note: Not all aliens die.
Collecting magic mushrooms will have varying results. Some will allow you to walk on water, but some will give you the hiccups, causing you to jump continuously. Experiment to find out what they do, but remember not all mushrooms are visible (they are magic, after all!).
To activate a teleport, stand on it and pull down on the joystick.
When you have collected all the Squijs on a level, as indicated on the bottom right of the screen, enter a duct and pull down on the joystick. The correct duct will take you to the next level.
Use a joystick in port 2.
Hold down SHIFT and press RUN/STOP.
The game will now load and run automatically. Please note the Classic version is the first program on the tape followed by the Remix version (you will need to reset your C64 to load the Remix version).
Game designed and produced by Kevin Murphy and Damien Steele.
