Firewatch's concept is interesting and has a lot of potential. But, with virtually no gameplay whatsoever, you'll be better off taking an actual walk in the woods than playing it.

A brutally beautiful and fragile story of people running from their problems - and problems running away from any tidy conclusions. This is the video game equivalent of a page turner, and adventure games have rarely been in finer form.

An absolute must-buy.

At its best when it allows you to just explore its captivating landscapes... In those moments between plot points, it excels, and that's where you'll want to be.

Having a smaller, more personal story explored through the medium of video games comes as a pleasant change of pace.
