Take Off With The Electron And BBC Micro
All programs should require, for example, nice titles, nice layouts and some meat upon their bones. From everything I have seen from Granada so far, their programs do none of these.
The layout of the level never really changes; the airlock and cave are always in the same place; the alien never gets any more intelligent; collecting the crystals is always just a matter of pure luck.
A lovely looking piece of software... The graphics are in all the seven colours of the Mode 2 palette with perspective plotting in at least three separate planes.
It winds up looking inviting but with gameplay that simply cannot hold its own against its rival platform games.
To be avoided unless you really, really need to learn German on your Elk.
A throwback to the days of old when the state broadcaster made thought-provoking drama, unfettered as to whether it would garner the viewing figures to compete against Simon Cowell's latest talent show incarnation.
