Busy is program one. Subject: Verbs and adverbs.
Busy performs an enchanting range of actions, which the player has to describe.
150+ different verb/adverb combinations are accepted, and the actions are replayed to music if successfully described within the time limit. High scores are earned for imaginative or unusual descriptions.
Options:
a) Skill Level (1-5), which sets the time limit
b) Choice of Verb Only/Verb + Adverb
Press ESCAPE to end a game, and only press BREAK when you want to load another program.
Press RETURN when you have typed in each verb or adverb. If the computer "bleeps", your word is not accepted - so try again!
Timeslip is program two. Subject: Past And Present Tense
A rocket collects each verb in turn from a series of sentences, and travels back in time to an eerie cave.
The player has to choose or type in the correct past tense of the verb, and also avoid a collision with the manic pterodactyl, as this destroys the laser defences, and lowers the scores!
Options:
Skill Levels 1-3:
1 = Simple ("-ed" endings)
2 = Difficult (="ed" endings),
3 = Irregular endings
Skill Levels 4-6: As above, but word must be typed in instead of matched.
Press ESCAPE to end a game, and only press BREAK when you want to load another program.
Skill Levels 1-3: Use the cursor keys to move the rocket to the correct word, then press RETURN.
Skill Levels 4-6: Type in the correct word.
Busy is recorded on side 1 of the cassette. Timeslip is recorded on side 2 of the cassette.
Insert the cassette with the correct side up for the game you want, then type:
CHAIN"" (RETURN)
