The original music is there, original Dragon Ball characters return, and pivotal moments are gorgeously animated. The trouble is, this game isn't doing it for the first time, and if you've played a Dragon Ball Z game before, you've basically played this one.
While the pacing is a bit off, seeing the story of Goku and friends told in wide swaths mostly works.
