The utility does work, but there's a distinct lack of documentation. And it's rather expensive for what it is. Read Review
The program is written in such a way that it may be loaded anywhere in memory. To do this, set the PAGE value (e.g. PAGE=&2000) and CHAIN the program. This allows you to disassemble a machine code program that is already in the computer's memory.
When the program starts, you will be asked for the start address of the disassembly (the first location that you want to look at) and then the finish address (the last location that you want to look at). You will then be asked for the address for the disassembed code. This code could typically be 3000 and when the disassembly has finished, setting PAGE=&3000 and typing OLD will allow you to list the disassembly and modify it.
Typing NO for the disassembly address will result in the code not being stored.
You will now be given the output options that allow you to have the characters shown in ASCII, the output pages (i.e. waiting shown) and the option to send the output to a printer. The addresses that you give must be in hexadecimal. If the disassembler comes across a code that it cannot interpret (possibly if the code is data) it will print out three asterisks.
