Specially for all you gamblers, this program features a deluxe fruit machine with four drums. These drums are manufactured at the start of each game to give you a brand new machine every time you play.
You are given an initial sum of £10 with which to play. Your current total is shown on the front of the machine.
This fruit machine has a number of normal and special features which are as follows:
For 10p, you are given two spins of the drum. The spin number is indicated on the front panel. Press S to spin the drums when 'Spin' is indicated.
Occasionally, at the end of the first spin a 'Hold' indication will appear. To select the drums to be held, press the appropriate keys 1 to 4. 'Held' will be displayed below the selected drums. To cancel a hold, press C key and then re-select.
Occasionally, at the end of the second spin, 'Respin' will be indicated for one of the drums. If you choose to respin the drum, press R key, otherwise press C key to cancel the Respin indication.
Occasionally, at the end of the second spin a 'Bounce' indicator will appeaar with a number from 3 to 5. This gives you a chance to single step any drum or drums for this number of steps. Use keys 1 to 4 to bounce the drums. The selected drums will move upwards. A 'Bounce' may be cancelled using the C key.
This is similar to Bounce except that the drums move downwards.
Occasionally at the end of the first spin, a 'Blind' will come down over one drum so that this drum does not take part in the second spin.
For a winning combination, the amount won is indicated together with a flaching 'Gamble/Collect' indication. If you wish to add this sum to your total press 'C' key. Otherwise press 'G' key. In this case a cycle of 'Double', 'Win', 'Lose' begins.
