An action game by Radoslav Marusa and DSA computer graphics
You completed your previous operation with daring and skill but now find yourself stuck deep behind enemy lines with your only chance of pickup being a helicopter situated several miles away in no man's land.
Fight through each are against overwhelming odds but don't delay as the radiation levels are rising!
Your previous mission was to plant bombs to ensure that the neighbouring enemy nation could no longer threaten your small country with their nuclear warheads. Thankfully, the mission was a success and you managed to obliterate all of their missile silos with your C4.
However, your previous rendezvous with your extraction helicopter was compromised and it was shot down in flames. You now find yourself deep behind enemy lines. Soldiers are looking for you everywhere and the radiation levels are rising as the winds blow the results of your previous bombing campaign across the war-torn landscape.
There is only one chance. Your forces have an allied helicopter pickup point several miles away from your current location and you must make it to that point at all costs. That or death are your only ways to escape this battlefield. Along the way, you may find POWs who can supply you from secret ammo caches so make sure to rescue them when you can.
With no allied troops to fight alongside you and no means to call in support, you're on your own. Outmanned and outgunned, but by using your skill and resourcefulness the enemy may yet find itself outsmarted and overwhelmed. Good luck, soldier!
When the game begins, you are offered the chance to select your controls. Several options are available along with the ability to redefine the keys. This can only be done once, at the start of the game, so make sure to select the correct keys. There is an option to correct them should you make a mistake.
The in-game interface shows the battlefield on the left hand side and on the right is a small status panel showing various pieces of information important to your mission.
Radioactivity - This shows the current radioactivity levels. The longer you take, the higher this will climb. At 100% your mission will be over as you will no longer be able to function.
Lives - Shows how many bullets you can take before you will be incapacitated and unable to continue.
Score - Your score. Points are awarded for eliminating enemies and completing areas successfully.
Special weapon - This shows the special weapon you currently have equipped, if any. This is activated using the "special" button. Special weapons are obtained by freeing the POWs that you will come across occasionally.
Use everything that is at your disposal to make it through each area and, with luck, you'll make it to your extraction point and a hero's welcome back home!
