Cave Fighter is a superb 100% Machine Code arcade game, complete with fast scrolling, high resolution colour graphics and sound.

As pilot of the aircraft, your mission is to enter the cave system and destroy the enemy fuel dumps, for which task you will need strong nerves and lightning reactions.

Your laser cannons will blast your passage through the force walls, while the Z Power Cubes can be dropped on to the fuel dumps and the enemy missile installations, but beware the defenders' rockets, which must be avoided by your skilful flying ability.

The object of Cave Fighter is to score as many points as possible by flying through the cave system and destroying the enemy fuel dumps.

Bombing fuel dumps also helps to replenish your own fuel level, which is indicated by the line at the bottom of the screen.

As you fly in the caves you must shoot your way through the force walls and avoid the enemy missiles launched against you. As a reward for success, bonus ships are awarded every 10,000 points.

The right hand joystick controls the ship's flight and pressing Fire shoots the laser, drops bombs and starts further games.
