There is nothing stunningly original in this game but so much is going on, there are so many options and combinations, that it remains addictive and enjoyable, as far as I know, forever. Good colour, excellent sound, great fun. Read Review
How good a shot are you? Can you shoot down all the ducks, owls and rabbits before you run out of bullets? Watch out for the ducks which swoop down and steal from your already dimishing pile of ammunition. If you manage to shoot them all down then you can have a go at shooting the polar beat. However, when you let him escape, another group of birds and rabbits will appear, and these won't be as easy to destroy as before...
This game has full colour graphics, sound effects and includes a table of high scores.
Compatible with keyboard or joysticks.
Ducks, rabbits and owls are circulating above you. You have a gun, and a limited supply of bullets which you must use to shoot them down. Your supply of bullets is displayed along the bottom of the screen. Watch out for the ducks which swoop down - if they manage to land, they take away ten of your bullets. Mixed in amongst the animals are the letters of the word 'BONUS' - you gain a bonus score for each one you shoot down in the correct order.
In addition you have to remove all the spokes on the wheel which is rotating at the top of the screen. Once you've managed to do this, and to destroy all the ducks, rabbits and owls, then you get the chance to go for the jackpot - try to hit the polar beat as he moves across the screen. Each time you hit him, he reverses his direction, increases his spped and becomes worth twice as many points. If he escapes, you then go on to a new, more difficult, carousel.
Bonus points can be obtained by hitting the boxes on the top right- and left-hand corners while they are displaying a positive number. Be careful, if the number is negative then you lose that many points. Bullets can be won and lost in the same way.
If you take too long to clear a screen, extra ducks will start appearing. To help you shoot these down you are given the chance of winning more bullets by hitting the boxes containing them as they move across. The numbers on the boxes tell you how many bullets they contain.
Z - Left, X - Right, RETURN - Fire
Alternatively, use the joystick to move left and right and the Fire button to shoot.
