Bonecruncher

In Bonecruncher, you are Bono, a dragon residing in a sea-castle. Keen on 'nice little earners', you make your living by selling soap to the monsters who surround the castle.

You produce the soap by collecting skeletons and then boiling the bones in a cauldron. However, the castle caverns are fraught with danger: monster will kill you, spiders will eat you, and glooks will block your path. Avoid the trapdoors and hidden volcanoes!

Playing The Game

You are Bono, whose job it is to supply giant monsters with the soap they need to bathe. You make the soap to an ancient recipe, boiling skeletons in cauldrons. You must search the castle for skeletons, kill monsters for their skeletons and avoid the poisonous spiders who will eat the bones if you're not careful.

There are also the Glooks who are attracted to the scent of soap and will trap a monster for you, so that you can collect his skeleton. You have an ally in this task, Fozzy, who can protect you from monsters and who is invulnerable to the poison of the spiders.

There are twenty four chambers to go through, each more difficult than the last: you must collect five skeletons for each bar of soap to be made and five bars of soap for each chamber.

To start boiling a skeleton, simply carry it to a cauldron and touch the cauldron. You may then find more skeletons.

Game Controls

Z - Left, X - Right, * - Up, ? - Down

Pressing the RETURN key and the appropriate direction key makes Bono perform an action, e.g. pushing Glooks out of the way or digging earth without moving from his current position.

SHIFT-R - Restart Game, ESC - Suicide Key, COPY/DELETE - Pause On/Off, S/D - Sound On/Off
