I found Bobby Bearing thoroughly addictive, but having seen Spindizzy, there is no comparison. Read Review
Bobby Bearing lived happily in Technofear - a metallic world of the future. But one day Bobby's brothers and cousins, ignoring the warnings of their elders, ventured out into the forbidden zone called The Metaplanes, and were attacke and captured. So it's Bobby to the rescue!
"Bobby Bearing features great graphics, weird sound and brilliant gameplay. I love this game. It's so playable..." ... C&VG Game Of The Month
Bobby Bearing features "Curvispace 3D", giving an incredibly realistic rolling action over the many screens of hazardous terrain. Just negotiating these metallic highways would be difficult enough - but they are full of hazards like magnets, air ducts, and lifts - all controlled by hidden switches - and then there are the evil Black Bearings! And remember, getting through the Metaplanes is even more difficult when you're pushing your sick brother Bearing...
Bobby and his family of bearings live in a metallic land of the future inhabited by many traps and fearful black bearings. Bobby's cousing has led his brothers astray in the land and it is up to Bobby to seek them all out and get them all home again.
This was the first game to feature "Curvispace 3D" which actually allows the bearings to roll around in 3D space in a very realistic manner. You control Bobby, who emerges from his home and you aid him in his quest or his brothers and his cousin.
Bobby has to find each of them in turn and roll them back home. But be careful! Getting past some of the pitfalls will be even more difficult when you are pushing another bearing!
